Are you an ACA / ACCA Qualified Finance Manager looking to work part time (3 or 4 days a week depending on your experience) in a hands-on Sole Charge Finance Manager position? Are you currently working in industry and looking for your next challenge or are you currently working in practice and looking to make your first move into industry? Do you have experience of, or a strong interest in, commercial property and/or residential property? Are you looking for a role with high levels of responsibility, where you can recommend improvements to the business and help contribute towards a growing and profitable family-owned property group?
Based in an easily accessible location in Zone 1 Central London (West End Location) and working directly with the owners of the group, your role will include:
- Managing the day-to-day bookkeeping and financial transactions for a number of different companies
- Preparation of quarterly management accounts for presentation to the board
- VAT returns and ad hoc duties as required
The role requires someone to work 3 days a week. If you can also complete statutory accounts for the business, the role can then be 4 days a week. The business is looking to potentially expand into new areas in the future so there could be some exciting project-based tasks to undertake.
The business uses Sage but is open to moving to another software package if recommended. The role is office-based (Zone 1 Central London West End location).
To be considered for this new role (February 2026), it is likely you will be fully ACA or ACCA Qualified and either working in industry or an accountancy practice firm. You must have experience of the above duties, namely the preparation of management accounts, VAT returns and day-to-day bookkeeping if you want to work 3 days a week, and also statutory accounts if you wish to work 4 days a week. You must be able to work in a sole charge role and have at least 5 years experience in an accountancy-based position.
The firm is happy to look at someone either from an industry or practice background, as well as someone who either has experience working in the property sector, or someone with a strong interest.
