Are you a General Practice Senior Manager, Director or Partner Designate with audit experience, looking to achieve responsible individual (RI) Status in the next 12 to 18 months? Are you looking to upgrade to a friendly, good quality traditional medium size accountancy firm based in Central London with great promotion prospects to Partner grade in the short term? If so this independent firm with around 65 staff has created a new role due to continued high growth within the business, particularly within audit and assurance. Based in the busy Audit & Accounts Department, your role will be general practice based, mixed between managing a number of the firms largest audit clients, reviewing accounts preparation and basic corporation tax assignments, staff management and new business development. You will manage your own portfolio of clients and report straight to Senior Partner level. Your client base will be varied and this firm works with clients from all industries, including property, technology, construction, renewable energy, retail, professional practices, media, entertainment and many more. Most clients range to £80m turnover and are UK based although they have some international groups as well. In your role you will be responsible for managing a number of the firms audit assignments including reviewing work and leading all client meetings, managing workflow, setting fees, budgeting, billing, monitoring WIP etc, reviewing accounts preparation and corporation tax assignments, staff management, giving staff appraisals and helping to oversee and manage the department. You will also be involved with new business development and assist the Partners with bringing in new work for the firm in order to grow your client portfolio. Your role will be varied, challenging, enjoyable and promotion prospects to Partnership are guaranteed for the right candidate. The firm has also had great success with people who have relocated to London from a regional firm and welcomes applicants from firms outside of Central London.

To be considered for this newly created role (July 2025) you must be ACA Qualified ideally with around 5+ years PQE or more. You must currently be operating at Senior Manager or Director level and looking to achieve RI status in the next 12 to 18 months, and full Partner level after this. You will currently be working in a good quality practice firm, likely medium in size in a general practice role (you must have experience of both audit and accounts assignments). You must also have very strong technical skills, be able to demonstrate successful business development skills, be able to manage clients, be a team player, have good communication skills and be looking for a role with strong progression to Partner level.

This very good quality, medium sized and traditional accountancy firm based in a great Location in Zone 1 Central London is growing at a rapid rate and has grown significantly over the last few years. This newly created role is due to the firm winning lots of new Audit & Assurance clients and needing a new RI in the firm due to a number of Partners retiring in the next few years. They also need someone to provide a little more leadership and to inherit and manage a number of high profile audit clients from various Partners in the firm.
