Bookkeeping & AI Manager

• This niche accountancy firm based in a prime location in Central London is looking for a new Bookkeeping Manager or Business Services Manager with at least 5 years experience who can carry out a newly created role consisting of business management duties as well as implementing AI across the firm and using Xero to improve efficiency and processes across the firm.
• The firm are looking for someone who is tech savvy, who has experience of streamlining and automating processes, is strong with Xero and is looking to utilise AI in their role.
• The aim of the role is to provide first class Bookkeeping and VAT services to a wide range of very high profile clients from the Music, Sport, Film, TV, Creative, Media and Entertainment sectors.
• Clients will vary and either be individuals, businesses, or business interests owned by HNWI’s.
• The firm is professional yet friendly and relaxed, with regular team bonding days and socials so you can get to know other members of staff from other departments.
• The firm offers hybrid working (one day a week from home and four days in the office), flexible start / finish times and actively encourages all its staff to learn new things, take on high levels of responsibility and to progress to a higher level at a rapid pace.
• The firm are also happy to consider someone looking to work part time and are happy for someone to work 4 days a week.
• Your role will be varied and include: managing your own portfolio of clients, ensuring all clients are serviced to a very high standard, Streamlining and automating all processes possible to improve efficiency, the preparation of all bookkeeping assignments for the firms clients as well as processing all client VAT returns. The role could also include processing payrolls if you have payroll experience.
• In the future the role could include managing, training and reviewing the work of more junior staff members.
• Training and support will be provided where necessary.
• To be considered for this role you must have at least 5 years Bookkeeping and Vat return experience in an accountancy practice firm environment. You must have up to date experience of VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments and strong experience of Xero software package and Apps.
• Processing payrolls from start to finish is desirable but not essential.
• You must have a strong interest in working with high profile clients from the Music, Media, Film, Sport and TV sectors.
