Are you an ACA or ACCA Qualified Accounts Senior or Business Services Senior with strong experience of statutory accounts and financial reporting? Do you have experience of FRS 102, UK GAAP and ideally IFRS? Are you from an accountancy firm background and looking to join a large Top 30 accountancy firm with over 600 staff in a hands-on role with exposure to some very large clients? Are you looking for a role where you will have a great opportunity to progress to Manager grade in a short space of time? This growing Top 30 accountancy practice firm based in a prime location in the City is looking to recruit a new member of staff due to impressive growth over the last few years and new large clients from larger competitors. Based in a friendly and supportive team, you will work with a range of interesting clients from sectors including financial services, retail, technology, media, entertainment, property, legal, oil & gas, renewable energy and many more.

Your role will be hands-on and mainly preparing work yourself but will also include an element of reviewing work and supervising juniors. Your role will be biased towards statutory accounts, financial reporting and consolidations, but will also include other duties such as management accounts, VAT returns, corporation tax returns and other ad hoc duties and advisory projects. Your role will be advisory based, varied, challenging, and training will be provided where necessary.

To be considered for this new role (June 2025) you must be either ACCA or ACA qualified, either newly qualified or with up to 3 years PQE. You must be working for a good quality practice firm, ideally medium or large in size and you must have experience of preparing both statutory accounts under UK GAAP and ideally IFRS. You must have experience of FRS 102. You must have experience of using a disclosure checklist when preparing accounts. You must also have experience managing junior staff, reviewing their work and providing feedback. It would also be an advantage if you had experience of management accounts, VAT and tax returns as well as strong client liaison skills.

You must now be looking to upgrade to a large Top 30 practice based in a City location in Central London where you can continue with your accountancy career, work on an interesting client base and receive top training, support and future progression to Manager grade on offer. This growing accountancy firm has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles.

You will work in a friendly and growing Business Services Department, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of clients from a wide range of industries. The department is growing at a rapid rate due to many new business wins from larger accountancy firms.
