Job Description
Are you an Accounts Semi Senior with at least two years experience from a good quality accountancy firm, looking to upgrade to a niche and friendly accountancy firm with 85 staff based in Central London (West End location) which specialises in working with interesting Film, TV, Creative and Media based clients? Are you keen to work in a firm with high levels of responsibility, work with an interesting client base and be trained so you can improve your overall accountancy skills and specialise in advising high profile clients? Are you also looking for study support for the ACA or ACCA qualification?
Based in a medium size niche firm and managing your own portfolio of clients, your role will be varied and include the preparation of statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, personal tax returns, VAT returns, management accounts and reviewing bookkeeping assignments which are prepared by more junior staff. You will be trained on other areas of accountancy where necessary. You will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from interesting sectors such as Film & TV, Advertising, Media, Entertainment and the Creative sectors.
You will also use a range of cloud based software packages such as Xero. You will work in a growing and supportive team and be provided with many opportunities to learn new skills and progress in a short space of time.To be considered for this newly created role due to growth (July 2025) you will likely be an Accounts Semi Senior, Accounts Assistant or Trainee Accountant with at least two years experience and ideally be AAT qualified or ACA / ACCA part qualified. You must have experience of working in a general practice role, with experience of preparing statutory accounts, tax returns, Vat returns and bookkeeping.
Experience of management accounts would be preferred but training can be provided. The firm also places a large emphasis on advisory work and advising clients, and full training and working with experienced staff will help you build up your advisory skillset. Ideally you will have experience of cloud software packages including Xero.
You must also be looking to work in a medium size practice that mainly works with Film, TV, Creative and Media based clients.This niche, good quality and friendly West End based accountancy firm with 85 staff is an excellent place to learn and develop your accountancy career.
