Position: Warehouse Shift Manager – Nights
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 18:00 – 06:00
Salary: £41,452 per year
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all colleagues to ensure that they carry out their work effectively and safely and work as part of the team.
- Delegate and assign tasks to colleagues within the shift.
- Produce the rota for all colleagues to include all types of absences and flex to changes in volumes when necessary.
- Authorise all of the shift’s hours and annual leave requests through the approval system in place.
- Hold annual performance reviews and, when necessary, investigations within the team.
- Build the team’s motivation by setting an example of a positive work attitude.
Qualifications:
- Ideally experience in working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to understand food safety practices and health and safety; in-house training will be provided.
- Food industry experience would be a plus.
- Good team player with a positive attitude and a ‘can do’ approach.
