BV Dairy is a manufacturer of specialist dairy produce, established 1958 in Shaftesbury Dorset. In 2024 we joined the First Milk group – a British farmer‑owned dairy co‑operative. Our products can be found in most supermarkets across the UK.
We welcome applications from everyone. We are looking for Production Operatives to strengthen our production team.
Work on the following shift:
- Night shift – Hours of work 18:00 – 06:00, on 4 days on/4 days off, shift basis.
Salary £30,903 – £39,748 per year
These exciting tasks are awaiting you:
- To produce a high volume of good quality products such as yogurts, kefirs, mascarpone cheese, etc.
- To follow all production plans to ensure orders are completed on time in full.
- To adhere to all technical requirements, operating procedures and health & safety policies.
- To assist in training other personnel to ensure that they work efficiently and safely as applicable.
- To contribute to improvements in production processes to increase efficiencies, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- To work with the Production Management team by supporting the business in a flexible manner.
Your experience so far:
- Ideally experience in working in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to understand food safety practices and health and safety, for which you will be given in‑house training.
- Food industry experience would be a plus.
We expect you to be a good team player, have a positive attitude and a ‘can do’ approach.
