BV Dairy is a manufacturer of specialist dairy produce, established in 1958 in Shaftesbury, Dorset. In 2024 we joined the First Milk group – a British farmer-owned dairy co-operative. You can find our products in most supermarkets across the whole of the UK. We welcome applications from everyone.
To strengthen our production team we are looking for Production Operatives who will work on the following shifts:
- Day shift – Hours of work 06:00 – 18:00, on 4 days on/4 days off, shift basis.
Salary: £29,440 per year
These exciting tasks are awaiting you:
- To produce a high volume of good quality products such as yogurts, kefirs, mascarpone cheese, etc.
- To follow all production plans to ensure orders are completed on time in full.
- To adhere to all technical requirements, operating procedures and health & safety policies.
- To assist in training other personnel to ensure that they work efficiently and safely as applicable.
- To contribute to improvements in production processes to increase efficiencies, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- To work with the Production Management team by supporting the business in a flexible manner.
Qualifications:
- Ideally experience in working in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to understand food safety practices and health and safety, for which you will be given in-house training.
- Food industry experience would be a plus.
- We expect you to be a good team player, have a positive attitude and ‘can do’ approach.
