BV Dairy is a manufacturer of specialist dairy produce, established in 1958 in Shaftesbury, Dorset. In 2024 we joined the First Milk group – a British farmer-owned dairy co-operative. You can find our products in most supermarkets across the whole of the UK. We welcome applications from everyone.
To strengthen our Engineering team, we are looking for a Facilities Manager.
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
Salary: £52,250 per year
These exciting tasks are awaiting you:
- Management and operation of steam boilers including maintenance and repair of the factory steam distribution system.
- Co-ordination of insurance inspections on facilities equipment including rectification of any reported defects.
- Management and maintenance of compressed air equipment including the factory compressed air distribution system.
- Management and maintenance of chilling and HVAC equipment.
- Building and external area maintenance.
Your experience so far:
- Qualified in an engineering discipline and experience of maintenance practices in an FMCG facility.
- IT literacy including Microsoft Office and Epicor.
- Previous experience with maintenance of facilities equipment.
- Experience of the regulatory requirements required for the role.
- Experience of managing contractors.
