As Sous Chef, you'll be a vital part of the kitchen team — supporting your Head Chef and stepping up when needed. You'll help deliver dishes to spec every time, lead a team, and contribute to kitchen profitability and performance with consistency and pride.
Responsibilities
- Lead the kitchen team to deliver high standards during service
- Support rota efficiency and manage kitchen GP
- Help maintain stock levels and control
- Mentor, develop, and motivate chefs at every level
- Run daily briefings in the Head Chef's absence
- Ensure full compliance with health & food safety standards
- Create an open, honest kitchen culture where people thrive
- Build strong communication between kitchen and FOH teams
