The Works
As Sous Chef, you’ll be a vital part of the kitchen team — supporting your Head Chef and stepping up when needed. You’ll help deliver dishes to spec every time, lead a team, and contribute to kitchen profitability and performance with consistency and pride.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading the kitchen team to deliver high standards during service
- Supporting rota efficiency and managing kitchen GP
- Helping maintain stock levels and control
- Mentoring, developing, and motivating chefs at every level
- Running daily briefings in the Head Chef’s absence
- Ensuring full compliance with health & food safety standards
- Creating an open, honest kitchen culture where people thrive
- Building strong comms between kitchen and FOH teams
This is a hands-on role for someone with energy, leadership skills, and a love of consistency and creativity in equal measure.
We Are Looking For Great Chefs That Are
- Enthusiastic, experienced, and team-focused
- Detail-obsessed and committed to quality at every level
- Confident working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Comfortable with ordering, rota planning, and GP control
- A mentor who supports others and keeps standards high
- Intermediate Food Hygiene certified
- A full driving licence is a bonus (but not essential)
