We’re now looking for a Procurement Assistant to support the day-to-day delivery of our procurement function, helping ensure our venues have the right products, at the right price, at the right time. The Works

As Procurement Assistant, you will support the Procurement Manager in delivering an efficient, compliant and commercially focused procurement process across the business. Working closely with our venues, suppliers and internal teams, you will help ensure smooth purchasing operations, accurate data management and strong supplier relationships.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting the purchasing of goods and services in line with cost, quality and delivery targets
  • Helping ensure continuous supply of products across venues, escalating risks or shortages when required
  • Maintaining accurate product, pricing and supplier information within procurement systems
  • Supporting the implementation of procurement and sourcing strategies across the business
  • Assisting with supplier communications and day-to-day relationship management
  • Helping resolve supplier queries relating to pricing, delivery, quality or invoice discrepancies
  • Supporting brand and category management alongside the Procurement Manager and Company Bar Manager
  • Preparing procurement reports and analysis for internal stakeholders
  • Providing administrative and analytical support during business tender processes
  • Preparing and calculating monthly liquor GP reports
  • Supporting liquor campaign updates, commercial processes and system changes
  • Maintaining product data within F&B procurement systems
  • Completing invoice matching and assisting in resolving discrepancies

Who We’re Looking For

  • High accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Good numerical and analytical ability
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • A proactive and collaborative working style

Experience using hospitality purchasing systems such as StarChef or Procure Wizard would be advantageous. Experience in hospitality, supply chain or procurement would also be beneficial.
