Following a period of growth, we are looking for a commercially minded Business Intelligence Analyst to help shape the future of data and insight across our venues. Working closely with Finance, Operations, IT, and Senior Leadership, you will transform complex data into clear, actionable insight. A key focus of the role will be developing a central data warehouse to create a reliable single source of truth and support future AI and advanced analytics initiatives.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Data & Reporting
    • Develop and maintain a central data warehouse integrating EPOS, finance, payroll, reservations, stock, CRM, and People platforms.
    • Build dashboards and reporting across sales, labour, margin, stock, and customer behaviour.
    • Improve data quality, consistency, and governance across the business.
    • Deliver commercially relevant insight for operational teams and leadership.
    • Analyse trends and risks to support trading performance and strategic planning.
  • Commercial Analysis
    • Partner with Finance and Operations to analyse performance drivers.
    • Support budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions with robust analysis.
    • Identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency through data.
  • Innovation & Collaboration
    • Explore AI-enabled analytics, automation, and predictive insights.
    • Evolve reporting from descriptive to forward-looking decision support.
    • Act as a trusted analytics partner and champion a data-led culture.

What We’re Looking For

  • Essential
    • Experience in a Data Analyst, BI, or similar analytics role.
    • Strong SQL skills and experience with structured datasets.
    • Experience with data warehouses or centralised data models.
    • Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability.
    • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualisation tools.
    • Ability to communicate complex insight to non-technical audiences.
  • Desirable
    • Hospitality, retail, or multi-site experience.
    • Exposure to Azure, AWS, or Snowflake.
    • Experience with EPOS, CRM, or digital platform data.
    • Familiarity with forecasting or AI-driven use cases.
