Are you obsessed with food & drinks, passionate about creating high-quality, long-form video content that keeps audiences watching? Are you a YouTube-native who understands how to turn great recipe storytelling into long-form videos people actually finish, and come back for more? We’re looking for a talented Food and Drinks video producer and/or content creator to bring creativity and storytelling expertise to the world’s biggest social food publisher. This role will play a key part in growing Tasty UK YouTube presence, while also creating compelling, shareable content for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. You’ll help us connect with food lovers through engaging formats that entertain, inform, and inspire.

About Tasty UK: Tasty UK is the UK hub of the world’s biggest social food brand. We create engaging, accessible food content that inspires millions of people to cook, experiment, and share. From viral short-form videos to series-led long-form storytelling, Tasty UK blends creativity, culture, and performance to connect with food lovers across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end creation of Food & Drinks long-form YouTube videos, from concept and scripting through to filming, editing, publishing, and optimisation.
  • Develop and evolve series-led formats designed to maximise retention, repeat viewing, and subscriber loyalty.
  • Research, recipe-test, film, and edit content that celebrates food & drinks and storytelling.
  • Create YouTube-first food storytelling with strong hooks, pacing, and narrative structure.
  • Lead on YouTube best practices, including titles, thumbnails, intros, mid-roll pacing, and end-screen strategies.
  • Use performance data (audience retention, watch time, CTR, subscriber conversion) to iterate and improve content week on week.
  • Test and refine formats that balance editorial quality with RPM-friendly content and brand suitability.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team on long-form branded integrations that feel native, engaging, and performance-led.
  • A digital-native mindset, with a strong understanding of YouTube best practices alongside TikTok and Instagram trends.

Key Skills:

  • Experience creating successful long-form YouTube content, ideally within food, drinks, and lifestyle.
  • A creator mindset combined with strong producer/editor skills.
  • Comfortable both in front of and behind the camera.
  • Deep understanding of YouTube analytics, including audience retention, average view duration, CTR, subscriber growth, and RPM.
  • Proven ability to build repeatable, scalable series rather than one-off videos.
  • Strong video production and post-production skills, including filming, lighting, sound, and editing.
  • Experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, and DSLR cameras.
  • Confidence in producing high-quality content from home or in a studio environment.
  • An instinct for what makes food & drinks content visually irresistible and emotionally engaging.
  • Excellent organisation and workflow management skills, enabling consistent publishing schedules.
  • Experience working with branded content or commercial partners in long-form video (preferred).

Success in This Role Looks Like:

  • Increased watch time and average view duration across the channel.
  • Consistent subscriber growth driven by strong series and returning audiences.
  • Improved audience retention curves, particularly in the first 30–60 seconds.
  • Development of RPM-friendly, brand-safe formats that support long-term revenue growth.
  • Repeatable content franchises that define Tasty UK’s YouTube identity.

Why Join Us?

You’ll join a creative, food-obsessed team with the opportunity to own and shape Tasty UK’s YouTube future. This is a chance to build long-form content with impact, experiment with formats, and grow a channel through smart storytelling and performance-led creativity. If you’re excited by the challenge of building a YouTube series that people love, finish, and subscribe for, we’d love to hear from you.
