*Job Overview*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Children's Manager to oversee the care and well-being of children within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in COMPLEX BEHAVIOUAL CHILDRENS CARE , with a focus on providing high-quality support to children with various needs. This role requires excellent management skills, as well as the ability to create and implement effective care plans tailored to each child's requirements.
*Responsibilities*
* Manage the daily operations of the children's care home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
* Develop and implement individual care plans that address the specific needs of each child.
* Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality care, including medication administration and adherence to care protocols.
* Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
* Foster positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies involved in their care.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of practice within the facility.
* Provide training and support for staff on best practices in child care, including dementia care when applicable.
* Create weekly report for the Authority
*Skills*
* Strong experience in COMPLEX CHILDRENS CARE is essential
* Proven ability to manage a team effectively while promoting a collaborative work environment.
* Knowledge of medication administration procedures and the ability to oversee these processes safely.
* Familiarity with developing and implementing comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
* A background in proven record in childrens psychology is desirable
* Applicant prefer to hold a NVQ Level 3/ Level 5
