Our internal HR team of 14 are a key division of our Professional Support team. The HR team provides varied HR support to the firm across the entire employee lifecycle including talent acquisition, onboarding, talent development, retention and separation.
We are looking for a Head of Talent to join the team on a 12 month FTC to support and oversee all recruitment and resourcing strategies, including commercial aspects such as marketing and budget management, while managing stakeholders and galvanising the talent team to perform at their best.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Develop current recruitment and talent management strategies to meet business needs in accordance with Employment Law legislation and GDPR, creating a fair and inclusive process that also supports the efficiencies required due to high volumes of applications.
- Support teams in strategic recruitment planning, understanding the needs of each individual team, working with team leaders in their recruitment plans on an ongoing basis.
- Overseeing all aspects of hiring from application process through to advertising, screening, interviewing, assessment and offer negotiation.
- Utilising data and analytics to understand trends, whilst improving processes.
- Responsibility for the overall recruitment budget, providing clear metrics/data for team leaders on recruitment spending, ensuring ROI is monitored and commerciality is applied.
- Supporting each team across the business with their attrition, keeping voluntary attrition levels low.
- Lead and deliver on market data reviews, whilst supporting team leaders in the annual remuneration review, ensuring remuneration is fair across grades.
- Ensure a fair and inclusive process is in place by all team members and candidate experience is prioritised as well as business commercial needs.
- Manage the overall marketing activities relating to talent, such as the career’s website, advertising platforms and social media platforms/initiatives.
- Demonstrable experience in talent acquisition within professional services across multiple service lines, with a background in agency/executive search recruitment.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and at pace, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders and hiring managers.
- Provide a consultative approach to recruitment, combined with the ability to maintain momentum and drive processes and projects forward.
- Solid understanding of UK employment law, relevant to recruitment and hiring practices.
- Proficiency with an applicant tracking system as well as intermediate MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You will be flexible in your approach, with an approachable, supportive and solutions-focused mindset.
