Welcome to Buzz 16! We create best-in-class sports entertainment across linear and digital platforms, working with some of the biggest names in sport and leading broadcasters worldwide. We are looking for a fast thinking and creative Social Media Assistant Producer to join us on a fixed-term contract who knows sport, has a strong interest in football, lives on social platforms, and understands what makes people stop scrolling.
You’ll be responsible for shooting, editing and posting standout content from live sport, studio shows and behind the scenes access, helping turn key moments into content that lands quickly and drives impact.
What You’ll Be Doing- Shooting and creating short form content for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
- Jumping on trends, sounds and formats as they happen.
- Turning live moments into content in minutes, not hours.
- Filming everything from matchday action to behind-the-scenes and creator style pieces on set.
- Editing natively for platform (hooks, pacing, captions, graphics and aspect ratios).
- Creating UGC style content that feels authentic, reactive and shareable, while pitching bold, platform first and culturally relevant ideas.
- Working closely with talent, athletes and production teams to capture the moments that matter.
As a fast moving production environment, you may also support across a range of projects and priorities where needed.
Who you are- You already create content and understand what performs well across platforms.
- Strong shooting skills, whether on camera or mobile.
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram and YouTube culture.
- Able to spot trends early and know how to use them effectively.
- Comfortable and experienced working in fast-moving, live environments.
- Ideas driven, proactive, and confident experimenting with new approaches.
- Consistently delivers high performing, fast turnaround content that drives engagement across platforms.
- Turns live moments into standout short form content that lands quickly and cuts through.
- Regularly spots and executes platform native ideas that align with trends and audiences.
