Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to join our NHS Trust based in a busy NHS Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality coffee beverages, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in providing comfort and support to patients, visitors, and hospital staff through the creation of delicious coffee drinks
Main duties of the job
Greet patients, visitors, and staff warmly and assist them in selecting beverages from our menu.
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty beverages, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.
Operate coffee brewing equipment, including espresso machines and grinders, with precision and care.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the café area, including cleaning equipment, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper storage and handling of food and beverage items.
Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently, following NHS Trust procedures.
Engage with customers in a friendly and compassionate manner, providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and contribute to a positive work environment.
