We’re looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Production Executive to work for our Sports Division in Manchester, delivering high quality and fast turnaround projects across digital and broadcast platforms.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing end to end delivery of assigned live events and digital productions.
- Overseeing production planning, schedules, call sheets, and run of show execution.
- Supporting the Head of Production (HOP) to ensure efficient contract execution, meeting cash flow milestones, and overseeing the revenue invoicing process.
- Handling budget preparation, financial reporting, and reconciliation throughout the contract term.
- Approving expenses, invoices, and timecards within agreed limits.
- Identifying cost efficiencies without compromising production quality.
- Conducting regular operational meetings with the Production Management and Editorial Team to ensure logistical and technical planning is in place.
- Overseeing the technical infrastructure of the service provision and identifying and addressing any risks in delivery to the appropriate channels.
- Coordinating to ensure timely approval and delivery of running orders, graphics, music, paperwork, and files.
- Supervising the delivery of call sheets, risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols and supporting the Production Management team as required.
- Ensuring compliance with broadcast standards, rights agreements, and any league requirements.
Who You Are:
- You have extensive experience as a Production Manager/Snr Production Manager, working towards Production Executive within the Live and Non-Live Sports TV and digital industry landscape.
- You are able to build, manage and forecast detailed budgets for Live and Non-Live Sports budgets, raising any concerns in a timely manner.
- You have experience in client facing roles and have collaborated regularly with renowned facility providers in the industry.
- You are highly organised, can think on your feet and are able to multitask.
- You know all about the rights and clearances as well as production and post-production workflows, insurance, and health & safety.
- You are adaptable, problem solver and quick thinking with a flexible approach.
- You have excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- You are happy travelling to sporting events and working weekends.
- You have a valid UK Driving Licence.
