Financial Controller (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, Xero, UK & US Experience, Part Remote)
Financial Controller required to join fast‑growing Fintech business based in the City of London. This is a part‑remote role where you can work from home from time to time.
We need an experienced, qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Financial Controller who has experience with Xero Software and has worked with UK and US side by side. Preferably you have exposure to the Payhawk platform or something similar.
Experience Required
- 7-10+ years experience in accounting/financial control roles
- Experience operating across multi‑entity, UK & US environments
- Background in SaaS, FinTech, or high‑growth technology companies strongly preferred
- Proven hands‑on ownership of controls, billing, payroll coordination, and core finance operations
Technical Skills
- Xero experience (essential)
- Payhawk or similar expense‑management platform experience
- UK payroll experience essential; US payroll coordination strongly preferred
- Strong Excel capability, including:
- Multi‑entity reconciliations
- Pivot tables and lookup formulas
- Cash‑flow and balance‑sheet analysis
- Audit‑ready schedules and workpapers
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified preferred
- Qualified by experience (QBE) candidates with strong SaaS / FinTech background will be considered
- Experience operating in multi‑entity, UK & US environments highly valued
