Finance Project Manager required to work for a Professional Services business based in Central London. However, this will be based in the office circa twice a week, and the rest from home.

We need a good, seasoned Business / Finance / Change Project Manager with proven business change, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and proven, seasoned Stakeholder Management skills. You MUST have experience in delivering key, significant business change programmes that have had a wide impact on the business (preferably the likes of Finance) within Enterprise businesses.

With regards to Stakeholder Management, we need someone who has worked in an environment where time is precious and it is all about being effective in the time allocated when it comes to executing solutions. We need someone who is dynamic, enthusiastic and extremely driven. The soft skills are just as important as the hardened skills where we ideally need a minimum of 3 years experience of delivering key projects. Note, this is NOT an IT Project Delivery role, although an appreciation of technical projects would also be welcomed.

This role will essentially contribute to how the finance team in this business conducts themselves internally, so any examples of where you have had such a level of impact is what we are looking for here.

When articulating your business stakeholder management experiences, our client wants personalised examples rather than clichΓ© ones. Ones that they would not necessarily have heard before and that are personal to you but good, strong ones of course.

We want someone with the following (so please read in FULL before applying):

  • Professional Services experience or knowledge (or a very close, like for like industry)
  • Experience of Business Change, Strategic Change, Finance impacts and some experience of facing off to Senior Business Related Stakeholders is essential
  • Appreciation this is NOT an IT Project Manager it is a business facing one with a slant sometimes on technology this is Operational Process and Business Change driven
  • C-Suite Business related Stakeholder Management skills, not just technology ones
  • Proven experience with Business Stakeholders / Fee Earners who are very time precious
  • Understanding of firm-wide and programme complexity, including lots of Business Change Management
  • Having PROVEN experience in a FULL project lifecycle being there and seeing through a project from start to finish
  • Analysing values and initiatives in order to apply the correct level of resource to each respective requirement / project really understanding the value of change
  • Ability to articulate the techniques you used and what YOU did
  • Pure clarity on how to describe situations and outcomes
  • Ability to map out plans, cost analysis, SWOT analysis etc
  • Some understanding of SDLC
  • Future leadership capabilities to later assist in mentoring more Junior members of the team (Project Managers and Business Analysts)
  • High energy, driven and enthusiastic characteristics required
