The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role with a strong focus on project delivery, operational change, systems improvement and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with departments across the business including key stakeholders to plan, coordinate and deliver projects that support efficient, compliant and customer-focused operations. You’ll take ownership of key project workstreams, support system and process changes, coordinate testing and implementation activity, and help ensure improvements are delivered smoothly across the business. This role would suit someone who enjoys managing projects, solving problems, improving processes, working across multiple teams, and keeping delivery on track in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Buyline operates a four-day working week. This is a hybrid role, with three days based onsite in Gloucester and one day working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Train, mentor and oversee the Operations Team.
- Lead and coordinate operational and systems-based projects from planning through to delivery.
- Manage project actions, timelines, risks and dependencies, keeping stakeholders updated throughout.
- Coordinate testing, implementation activity, process changes and post-launch support.
- Support the onboarding of new Business Partners and Service Providers, coordinating activity across internal systems and operational workflows.
- Create and maintain accurate Business Partner and Service Provider records within CRM and internal systems.
- Ensure onboarding documentation, operational records, system permissions, products, commercial terms and portal access are set up correctly where required.
- Act as a key point of contact for onboarding updates, queries and operational support.
- Work closely with third-party providers and internal teams to deliver system and workflow improvements.
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency and better ways of working.
- Support system configuration, troubleshooting and operational change activity.
- Produce and maintain project plans, process documentation, procedures and supporting materials.
- Support the day-to-day leadership of operational teams where needed, including senior escalation support.
- Help drive continuous improvement and support successful project adoption across the business.
About You

- Experience supporting or coordinating operational projects, process improvements or system changes.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage actions, timelines and competing priorities.
- Confidence working across operational systems, CRM platforms or workflow tools.
- Experience coordinating testing, implementation activity or process rollouts.
- Leadership experience, with the confidence to guide others, support operational teams and help keep delivery on track.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
- A practical, hands-on approach to solving problems and improving ways of working.
Desirable experience includes:
- Experience within a regulated environment.
- Consumer credit or financial services experience.
- Systems integrations, migrations or automation projects.
- Database management, coding or data extraction experience.
