Technology Product Owner required to join a global Professional Services business based in Central London. This role is practically remote; when travel is required (to London, Europe and the States on occasions), it will be bi-monthly for team collaboration, and travel and accommodation will be reimbursed. This Product Owner should ideally have experience within Knowledge Management and a passion for AI. It is a technology-driven role, so we would like someone from a technology-first background who has progressed into Product Management / Ownership. Coming from a heavily regulated environment such as Financial Services, Fintech, Legal, Assurance, Insurance, Accountancy, etc., is essential. If you come from outside these sectors, other industry backgrounds may be acceptable, but they must be a firm with solid governance, compliance and regulatory boundaries. In summary, Knowledge Management experience with a passion for AI, Product Owner exposure in a heavily regulated environment, and a fantastic attitude are essential. You will also be able to give strong examples of success in handling last-minute changes to priorities. This role has global coverage, so there may be early/late calls and some flexibility with times. We are seeking a dedicated candidate, not a standard 9am–5pm role.
Responsibilities
- Act as Technology Product Owner with a focus on Knowledge Management and AI initiatives within a heavily regulated environment.
- Work in a technology-driven context and collaborate with development teams to communicate needs and priorities.
- Engage with 3rd party suppliers to maximise value and performance.
- Operate in a global, multi-time-zone environment and be flexible with working hours when required.
- Demonstrate proactive prioritization and effective handling of last-minute changes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across regions, maintaining strong teamwork, problem-solving, initiative and integrity.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner in a complex, global environment.
- Tech-first background with the ability to communicate effectively with development teams.
- Experience communicating with 3rd party suppliers and extracting maximum value from them.
- Global experience is preferred, with awareness of sometimes working outside standard hours.
- Strong Knowledge Management experience with a passion for AI and new technologies.
- Knowledge of developing, analyzing and designing digital products and software applications.
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Proactive self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office productivity, communication & collaboration tools.
- Teamwork, problem-solving, initiative and integrity demonstrated in prior roles.
- Excellent English language proficiency and interpersonal communication skills.
