Warehouse Team Leader Support – Castle Donington
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team at our East Midlands Distribution Centre (EMDC), where you will support warehouse operations in a busy and fast-paced environment.

About the Role
As a Warehouse Team Leader Support, you’ll play a key role in assisting the Shift Manager and Team Leaders in the day-to-day coordination of warehouse activities.
You’ll help ensure operational processes run smoothly and that service levels are met across receiving, putting away, and dispatching goods.
Working alongside the leadership team, you'll
- Support with overseeing a team of warehouse operatives.
- Help maintain a safe and compliant working environment by adhering to warehouse policies and health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with team motivation and communication to help meet daily performance targets.
- Provide support with the induction and basic training of new team members.
- Contribute to organising workloads and helping the team stay on track.
As this is a small team, this is a hands-on and physically demanding role where everyone is expected to get involved.

About You
We’re looking for someone who
- Has experience working in a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment.
- Is confident working in a team and supporting others.
- Has good communication and time-management skills.
- Has a flexible approach and a willingness to adapt to changing workloads and operational requirements.
- Has a proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership and identify what needs to be done without always being directed.
- Understands the importance of following safety procedures and warehouse processes.
- Can use basic IT systems including Excel.
- Has a Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car.
This role is ideal for someone ready to take on more responsibility, while still working closely under the guidance of senior leaders.
