Job Description:
Buy It Direct is a leading UK e-commerce retailer. We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to help shape our systems and processes. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Huddersfield, UK, with 3 to 4 days on-site per week. Salary up to £60,000 per annum.
Responsibilities include:
- Gathering and prioritising business and system requirements through interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
- Producing artefacts such as UML diagrams and process flows.
- Conducting feasibility and gap analysis, including cost-benefit and risk assessments.
- Defining current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) states, identifying integration points and changes.
- Collaborating with developers, architects, and QA teams to design solutions.
- Creating and refining test cases, acceptance criteria, and UAT plans.
- Liaising with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates, and managing escalations.
- Driving change management through training and documentation.
Candidate Requirements:
- Technical acumen with the ability to interpret technical documentation.
- Proficiency in modelling techniques (e.g., UML, BPMN).
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ownership and accountability across the project lifecycle.
- Experience mapping business processes and working with agile and waterfall methodologies.
