Are you ready to be part of a fast-growing e-commerce business that’s redefining the world of e-tail? We are excited to offer a Senior / Graduate Buying Assistant position on our Appliances team at our Huddersfield Head Office. As part of a highly commercial and collaborative team, you’ll play a key role in supporting buying activity and contributing directly to the business's future growth. You will have exposure to a fast-paced, data-driven e-commerce environment, with the opportunity to work closely with experienced Buyers and Senior Buyers.
About the Role:
- Provide essential commercial and administrative support to the buying team, helping to drive performance across the category.
- Assist with general run rate ordering and pricing activities.
- Conduct competitor analysis to ensure we’re always ahead of the game.
- Manage product set-up to provide customers with essential technical information.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and internal teams for efficient returns management.
- Conduct daily analysis of the Trading suite to monitor performance.
- Provide general commercial administration support to Buyers and Senior Buyers.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Commercial curiosity with a genuine interest in retail and e-commerce.
- A confident analytical thinker with strong numerical ability.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-moving, change-driven environment.
- A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience as a Buying Assistant is desirable but not essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently.
