What You’ll Do
- Build the Range: Under the guidance of a Buyer, you will develop commercial ranges for the category.
- Own the Timeline: Manage the critical path from concept to delivery, ensuring our new products hit the market at the right time.
- Drive Supplier Relationships: Negotiate with global suppliers to secure the best product, price, and lead times.
- Collaborate to Win: Work cross-functionally with Merchandising, QA and Trading Teams to bring your ranges to life.
- Benchmark the Best: Constantly analyse the market and competitors to ensure we remain the go-to destination for lifestyle trends.
What you need
- Buying Experience: 1–2 years as an Assistant or Junior Buyer within a retail or eCommerce environment that is Product development focussed.
- Technical Prowess: Advanced Excel skills (you love a VLOOKUP and a Pivot Table) although not essential.
- A love of Trends: You enjoy keeping tabs on the market and following the latest influencers.
- Negotiation: A proven ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with international suppliers.
- Organisation: Expert-level management of the Critical Path and production timelines.
