We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant with a caring nature and proactive professional manner to provide a high standard of care for our patients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with good communication skills and a commitment to working as part of a strong and effective team.
Main Duties:
- Phlebotomy and venepuncture
- Electrocardiograms (ECGs)
- Blood pressure monitoring (including ambulatory/home readings)
- Urinalysis
- INR monitoring in line with agreed pathways
- Complex wound care under supervision
- NHS Health Checks, including basic cholesterol awareness
- Smoking cessation advice and brief interventions
- New patient health checks and routine observations
