The Senior Administrator supports mental health services within the Business Support function, primarily based at Springfield Court, Barnstaple, with occasional remote contribution to countywide services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to telephone queries promptly and accurately.
  • Perform general administrative tasks.
  • Use electronic systems and prepare electronic files.
  • Assist with reporting and data compilation.
  • Produce letters and reports.
  • Process incoming correspondence.
  • Support clinical team members.
  • Diary management.

Person Specification – Knowledge

  • Computer literate; good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Willing to undertake training relevant to the post.

Essential Experience

  • Clerical, administrative or reception experience (minimum 1 year).

Desirable Experience

  • Clerical, administrative or reception experience (minimum 2 years).
  • Experience within a customer care, healthcare, education or social care setting.

Qualifications

  • Good general education (e.g., GCSEs or equivalent).

Desirable Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 Business Administration or equivalent experience.
