Our Maintenance team plays a critical role in ensuring our properties consistently reflect the high standards our guests expect and deserve.
This is a key role supporting the upkeep and presentation of our properties—ensuring all buildings, facilities and guest areas are maintained to the highest possible standard, both functionally and visually. You’ll work closely with the Maintenance Manager, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance, with a particular focus on maintaining the look and feel of our beautiful estates.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out general maintenance and repair work across the property.
- Take ownership of painting, decorating and finishing tasks, ensuring a high-quality standard throughout.
- Assist with planned preventative maintenance programmes to minimise disruption to guests.
- Maintain both interior and exterior building fabric, ensuring spaces are safe, functional and visually appealing.
- Support general repairs across plumbing, basic electrical, and building works.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance at all times, including fire safety awareness and hazard reporting.
- Complete required training and support wider team activities as needed.
- Strong painting and decorating experience (essential).
- Good all‑round maintenance knowledge, including basic building, plumbing or electrical work.
- A practical, adaptable approach with a willingness to take on varied tasks.
- High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ/City & Guilds, Health & Safety) are desirable but not essential.
