We are looking for a Sampling & Regulations Technician who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”. We are ideally looking for someone based in Exeter and this role will be covering the South West.
As the Sampling & Regulations Technician your key responsibilities are:
- To undertake unscheduled visits mainly to customer residential properties and some commercial properties.
- To be accountable for water sampling activities, in accordance with industry standards.
- Carry out fittings inspections to ensure that installed plumbing systems are compliant, identifying risks to water quality and any issues relating to the waste, undue consumption, or misuse of our water.
- Conduct daily quality control analysis and in situ analysis of water, including chlorine, temperature, taste, odour and turbidity and interpret test results.
- To participate in a standby rota.
About You:
- Full driving licence.
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- Able to effectively plan workload.
- Exceptional record keeping skills are essential.
