GTC, who are part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for a Planning/Design Engineer (Electric) who would like to help us reach our mission of ‘making lasting connections with our customers to improve their lives’.
As the Planning/Design Engineer (Electric) your key responsibilities are
- Undertaking Network demand calculations and design Points of Connection (POCs) from existing electric networks to provide technical solutions and quotations for 3rd party Points of Connection Applications.
- Undertaking Network export calculations for modelling of embedded generation applications on existing electric networks to assess and approve embedded generation applications in line with relevant Company Standards.
- Undertaking Network export calculations for modelling of embedded generation applications on existing electric networks.
- Maintaining a helpful and informative work environment.
About you
- GCSE’s in English, Mathematics and at least one Science or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
