GTC, part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for Cable Jointer (Northwest) who would like to help us reach our mission to earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service.

Purpose of this role

Installation of electrical infrastructure and commercial properties.

Install and commission Electrical Infrastructure as instructed, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions.

Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain in good condition, and report any defects to the Electrical Works Manager.

Complete site specific risk assessments on a daily basis and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment.

Act as a Competent Person on Energisations (if assessed as competent)

Attend Toolbox Talks and other training courses as required.

Electrical Passport (SHEA Electric).

NRSWA certificate for operatives.

CSCS Card.

Clean driving license.

Conditions of Employment

You will be required to participate in a standby rota.

You will hold a driving licence.

Cost of living annual pay review.

Company pension contributions up to 5% if employees contribute 4%.

33 days holiday including bank holidays with the ability to purchase an additional 2 weeks.

To say thank you, each time you successfully refer someone you will receive a referral payment of £1000 (net of tax).
