We are looking for Water Field Technician who would like to help us reach our mission to earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service.
This is a field based role covering areas such as Southampton, Portsmouth, Basingstoke and surrounding areas.
Purpose of this role To provide field support to the water asset team, by ensuring our water network is constructed and installed to a high standard, that our customers have wholesome drinking water and that the network is robust for the future.
Your key responsibilities are Act as the escalation point to liaise with developers / customers and contractors.
Ensure that the quality and integrity of the network is maintained as part of a structured audit strategy.
Audit and assess construction activities related to IWNL water mains.
Ensure that all assets comply with the technical and regulatory standards as detailed by IWNL.
Undertake water sampling following an outage, in accordance with DWTS UKAS 17025 standard.
Qualifications SHEA Water.
CSCS or equivalent.
Experience/Knowledge Experience working within the water industry.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards and policies.
Excellent customer service skills.
Desirable National water Hygiene.
Confined spaces.
Network/leakage qualification.
Conditions of Employment You are required to have your criminal records checked through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
You will be required to participate in a standby rota.
You will hold a driving licence.
