We are looking for a Support Services Officer who would like to help us reach our mission to earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service. Working hours for this role alternate weekly between Mon-Fri 08:00 - 16:30 and 08:30 - 17:00. This role is based in our Woolpit office 5 days a week.

Purpose of this role:

  • Day to day support for the Support Services Transport team.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Ensure a quality service provided to the business, including excellent customer service and attention to detail.
  • Receiving and dealing with incoming telephone calls.
  • Administration of company vehicles for BUUK, including logging and confirming accidents, repairs, maintenance, fees, tolls, MOTs, services, RFLs.
  • Administration of fuel cards.
  • Assist in keeping all vehicles compliant within legal/statutory requirements.
  • Processing of new vehicle orders.
  • Completing P46 submissions for company car drivers.
  • Analysing and completing reconciliations for data.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of the transport database.
  • Processing purchase invoices and dealing with queries including working with finance to ensure payments are processed.
  • Updating the Fleet system with analysis data.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive safety culture within the team and overall business, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Visiting sites quarterly to meet the drivers and check their vans.
  • Visiting other UK locations as required to monitor and review ongoing activities.
  • Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the management team.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths and English.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Telephone call handling.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Completion of admin tasks.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and manage own workload.
  • Positive manner and operates with a can-do attitude.

Abilities/Skills:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Desirable: Ability to use Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Financial understanding.
