We are looking for an ICT Service Engineer who would like to help us reach our mission to earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service.
As the ICT Service Engineer your key responsibilities are:
- Ensure an excellent customer experience by providing customer support and reducing customer effort
- Provide hardware and desk side support for all BUUK employees within SLA
- Work with internal customers, ensuring service requests such as new starters, change of role and leavers are fulfilled
- Respond in a timely manner to incidents relating to end user hardware.
- Provide hardware and application support to field operatives using rugged tablets
- Support with the development, implementation, and testing of software used by field operatives
- Build, configure, and deploy new and replacement hardware for existing users and new starters
- End-to-end lifecycle management of all user IT hardware
- Face to face support as part of our onsite IT Hub
- May need to take part in an out of hours rota to support customers who work outside normal hours
About you:
- Experience working within an IT service desk and user hardware support environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory and Exchange
- Customer focussed with excellent communication skills
- Problem solver with the ability to prioritise to meet service level agreements
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Have a good understanding of IT security and awareness of cyber security best practices.
