You’ll be a hands-on Senior Support Worker in a children’s home, supporting young people who’ve had a tough start and need consistency, patience, and someone who won’t give up on them. No one said it was an easy job; if you can say yes to the below this is for you.

  • Be the senior on shift – guiding staff and keeping things running smoothly
  • Have a can-do attitude
  • Be a car driver with a full license - (must have)
  • Support young people day-to-day and help build trust (the big stuff)
  • Line manage support workers
  • Handle challenging moments with resilience and emotional intelligence
  • Work closely with a tight team and therapeutic services

This is for those experienced in working within a children’s home, so the young people get focused, dedicated support — and you get the chance to make a real impact.

The essentials:

  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Hold NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare
  • Team player, problem solver, patient human
  • Minimum 5 sleep-ins per month
  • Great knowledge of Ofsted
  • Have a minimum of 1 year’s experience in the same or similar role.
