ÂŁ24,600 per annum (ÂŁ41,000 FTE) + ÂŁ3,000 car allowance

People person? Policy pro? Culture champion? You might just be our perfect match. Our Client believes great care starts with great people. That belief has helped them to build an Outstanding organisation (yes, the Care Quality Commission agrees), and now they are looking for an equally outstanding HR Business Manager to help their people thrive.

This is a pivotal, hands-on role for someone who loves variety, values autonomy, and wants to make a genuine difference in a growing organisation of around 70 colleagues.

The role (aka where you shine)

As our HR Business Manager, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things people-related, supporting the full employee lifecycle — from “Welcome to Organisation!” to ongoing development and everything in between. You’ll:

  • Lead on recruitment, onboarding and employee relations, ensuring every colleague feels supported and valued
  • Develop, review and implement HR policies, compliance and best practice
  • Partner with managers to provide practical, people-focused HR guidance
  • Be the first point of contact for our web-based HR system, keeping records tidy and processes smooth
  • Coordinate their Employee Wellbeing Programme, working with wellbeing champions to ensure staff can truly flourish
  • Prepare HR reports and attend quarterly board meetings
  • Support day-to-day HR and central back-office functions

In short, you’ll help them to build a high-performance, compassionate workplace where people enjoy coming to work.

About you

You’re confident, proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to work autonomously and build strong relationships at every level. You’re equally comfortable dealing with people issues, systems, strategy and sleeves-rolled-up HR work. You’re also someone who sees HR not just as policies and processes — but as a way to make work better for everyone.

What’s in it for you?

They don’t just say “we value you” — They show it. You’ll enjoy:

  • Competitive salary and ÂŁ3,000 car allowance
  • Generous holiday and sick pay
  • Workplace pension with salary sacrifice option
  • CIPD membership subscription
  • Access to Hospital Saturday Fund Health Plan
  • Free and unlimited employee assistance helplines
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Monthly staff draw & Refer a Friend scheme
  • Ongoing training and development
  • And much more…

Ready to make a difference? If you think you might share our clients' values of accountability, commitment, compassion and integrity, and believe in delivering person-centred care of the highest quality, we’d love to hear from you. Join them — and help shape a workplace where people truly matter.
