What you’ll actually be doing:
- Lead shifts and guide the staff team
- Keep the home running smoothly and safely
- Support young people day-to-day and build meaningful, trusting relationships
- Line manage Support Workers
- Handle challenging situations with emotional intelligence and resilience
- Work alongside a close-knit team and therapeutic professionals
- Bring a positive, can-do attitude every single shift
This role is for experienced residential childcare professionals who want to step up and make a real, lasting impact.
The essentials (non-negotiables):
- Full UK manual driving licence
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards
- Team player, problem solver, patient human
- Able to complete minimum 5 sleep-ins per month
