What you’ll actually be doing:

  • Lead shifts and guide the staff team
  • Keep the home running smoothly and safely
  • Support young people day-to-day and build meaningful, trusting relationships
  • Line manage Support Workers
  • Handle challenging situations with emotional intelligence and resilience
  • Work alongside a close-knit team and therapeutic professionals
  • Bring a positive, can-do attitude every single shift

This role is for experienced residential childcare professionals who want to step up and make a real, lasting impact.

The essentials (non-negotiables):

  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards
  • Team player, problem solver, patient human
  • Able to complete minimum 5 sleep-ins per month
