Could this be the most rewarding job you'll ever have?
We're looking for a Children's Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team in a solo children's home, providing one-to-one support for young people who have experienced trauma and need someone who believes in them, even on the days they struggle to believe in themselves.
This isn't just another job.
** It's helping a young person trust again.
** It's celebrating the first day they smile.
** It's being there for the setbacks, the breakthroughs, the laughter, the tears—and all the little moments in between that most people never get to see.
** Some days you'll feel like a mentor.
** Some days you'll feel like a referee.
**Some days you'll become an expert at making toast at 2am.
Every day, you'll make a difference.
What you'll be doing
You'll help create a home where young people feel safe, valued and understood.
That means you'll
- ** Create a warm, safe and nurturing home environment.
- ** Build trusting relationships that genuinely change futures.
- ** Encourage independence, confidence and personal growth.
- ** Support young people with activities, appointments and everyday life.
- ** Work alongside a close-knit team who have your back when you need it.
- Who we're looking for
We're not looking for perfect.
We're looking for people who care.
You'll be someone who
- **Stays calm when life gets a little chaotic.
- ** Has resilience, patience and emotional intelligence.
- ** Can see the person behind the behaviour.
- ** Knows that trust isn't demanded—it's earned.
- ** Brings positivity, humour and compassion, even on the difficult days.
- ** Holds a full UK manual driving licence.
** Experience in residential childcare or a similar support role is desirable, but your values and attitude matter just as much.
No Level 3 Diploma? We've got you. We'll fully fund it, support you every step of the way, and help you build a career—not just find a job. Why join us?
** Because every shift matters.
** Because every conversation counts.
** Because the young people we support deserve adults who won't give up on them.
