Buttons Recruitment are recruiting for a Children’s Home, Registered Manager in Gravesend. Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 pa, good annual leave allowance, plus additional benefits.

We’re on the hunt for a Registered Children’s Manager to take the reins of a lovely 3-bedded children’s home in Gravesend, currently rated “GOOD” by Ofsted – and aiming for OUTSTANDING.

A Bit About the Role:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations like a boss.
  • Making sure every child’s care plan is more than paperwork – it’s a real roadmap to better outcomes.
  • Working with social workers, healthcare professionals, and local authorities.
  • Championing safeguarding, risk management, and governance.
  • Advocating for young people to access everything they need – from education to emotional support.

You’ll Fit Right In If You:

  • Have at least 2 years in a similar Registered Manager role.
  • Hold a Level 5 Diploma (as a minimum) in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations.
  • Know your regulations, your reports, and your responsibility for top-tier care.
