Location: Greenford

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 pa, good annual leave allowance. Plus, additional benefits.

Are you a passionate leader who’s been there, done that, and has the clipboard to prove it? Ready to steer a small but mighty team and help young people not just survive, but thrive? We’re on the hunt (on behalf of a fantastic client) for a Registered Children’s Manager to take the reins of a lovely 3-bedded children’s home in Gravesend, currently rated GOOD by Ofsted and aiming for OUTSTANDING.

A Bit About the Role:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations like a boss (because you are the boss).
  • Making sure every child’s care plan is more than paperwork – it’s a real roadmap to better outcomes.
  • Working with social workers, healthcare pros, and local authorities like a networking ninja.
  • Championing safeguarding, risk management, and governance like it’s second nature.
  • Advocating for young people to access everything they need from education to emotional support (and everything in between).

You’ll Fit Right In If You:

  • Have at least 2 years under your belt in a similar Registered Manager role.
  • Must hold a Level 5 Diploma (as a minimum) in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations.
  • Know your regs, your reports, and your responsibility for top-tier care.
  • Are someone your team looks up to not just for answers, but for inspiration.
