Community Support Hero Wanted!

Pay: ÂŁ13.45 - ÂŁ15.05 per hour

Hours: Full-time (37 hours a week)

Location: Somewhere filled with heart, humour, and tea in Attleborough and outreach contracts.

Buttons Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for 2 x Community Support Workers on behalf of one of our clients, who are now expanding their services and growing their teams.

Community Support Workers will join our client's full-time team on a permanent basis, supporting people with learning disabilities to live, laugh, and thrive.

What you’ll do:

  • Be the daily dose of kindness, encouragement, and patience that makes someone’s world better.
  • Support people to reach their goals (big or small — from cooking up a storm to conquering karaoke night).
  • Work as part of a supportive team that listens and laughs together.
  • Occasionally sleep on the job (yes, really — we call them sleep-ins – paid at a flat rate).

What you’ll need:

  • Desirable to have a minimum of Level 2 in Health & Social Care (because you’ve got the skillsets heart). Or hold the Care Certificate. Full training will be given if you have the right ethos to deliver exceptional assistance to those you care for.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car— adventures and appointments await!
  • A big heart, a sense of humour, and a can-do attitude.
  • Experience in care or support (official badges welcome, but passion’s the real qualification to be a community support worker).
  • A love for teamwork, community spirit, and cups of tea.
  • An Enhanced Adult and Child DBS check – fully paid for by the client.
