Volunteer Retail Assistant – Billingham

Location:Billingham – 1 Cinema Buildings Mill Lane, Billingham TS23 1HE

Role summary:By selling donated goods, you can play your part, raising the vital funds we need to provide our services to the local community. You can also help the planet by giving items a second lease of life!

Usual Role Hours / Shift:Flexible hours to suit – Monday to Saturday. The hours you donate to helping us are up to you – whether it’s for a couple of hours or full day, once or twice a week – we really appreciate any help you can give us.

Main Tasks:

Working as part of a team, delivering excellent customer service, you can help us with:

• Sorting
• Displaying
• Selling merchandise
• Generally helping out
• Cleaning

We\’d like you to help with generally with the above, but if you want to specialise in a particular area, that\’s fine, we will pleased to discuss this with you.

No experience is necessary , as training will be given. We just ask that you are of smart appearance, reliable and of a friendly nature. Applicants must be above school age/16 or over.

These roles will be based in Billingham – we have other retail sites in St Helen/Bishop Auckland, Redcar, Barnard Castle, Norton , Linthorpe, Thornaby and are always on the look out for more help in these locations too.
