Butterwick Hospice is seeking compassionate and committed Registered Nurses to join our Adult Inpatient Unit. Our team provides outstanding, person-centered care for people living with life-limiting illness while offering vital support to their families at the times they need it most. In this role, you will make a meaningful contribution to delivering high-quality end of life care and complex symptom management, helping every patient achieve the best possible quality of life. We have a range of full-time and part-time opportunities available for Registered Nurses. Salary: Starting salary £35,066 per annum - subject to pay review
Hours: Full Time or Part Time
Main duties of the job:
- The Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care under minimum supervision.
- This includes supervision of both qualified and support staff, and of student nurses during their allocation.
- As IPU provides twenty-four hour care, a willingness to work days and nights is preferred.
- The Registered Nurse will work within the framework of the Multidisciplinary team providing a high standard of care for the patients and support for their relatives.
- Assist in the nursing team development by keeping abreast of change, involving evidence base and directives from government/organisational policies.
