We are on the lookout for a Senior Social Strategist to join our Marketing Growth Team. As a direct‑to‑consumer e‑commerce business, driving growth through our digital marketing endeavours is crucial. Our goal is to establish ourselves as the leading fresh dog food company in Europe, maintaining a strong growth trajectory over the next five years. The Senior Social Strategist will own the strategy, delivery, and performance of paid social creative across Meta and TikTok. Within the UK Marketing team, this role is pivotal for scaling creative output while improving creative performance and quality. The role acts as the central point of ownership between creative, media, and insight, managing multiple work streams (including in‑house, agency, and UGC resource), enabling creative sharing across international markets, and ensuring paid social creative drives efficient customer acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Scaling creative output & quality – Build and manage systems, frameworks and processes that increase creative output without sacrificing quality or performance. Ensure concepts, hooks and formats are repeatable, scalable and insight‑led. Raise the overall creative bar through strong briefing, feedback and iteration.
- Channel expertise (Meta & TikTok) – Act as the creative expert for Meta and TikTok, with strong understanding of platform best practices and algorithm needs. Ensure creative is optimised for placements, audiences and delivery signals. Continuously evolve creative approaches in line with platform and format changes.
- Creative strategy, briefing & feedback – Develop clear creative strategies, concepts and testing hypotheses grounded in performance insight. Write strong, actionable briefs defining hooks, angles, messaging and formats. Support the development of compelling early‑frame hooks. Provide clear, performance‑focused feedback across all creative work streams.
- Performance insight & optimisation – Analyse creative performance across key metrics (CTR, CVR, CPA). Distil performance data into clear, actionable insights. Feed learnings directly into future briefs, test plans and creative iterations. Work closely with Paid Media teams to scale winning creative effectively.
- Project, stakeholder & work‑stream management – Manage multiple creative work streams, ensuring alignment on concepts, priorities and timelines. Coordinate delivery across internal teams, external agencies and creators. Ensure creative is delivered on time, to brief and against performance goals.
- Agency & people management – Manage a creative agency as a dedicated paid social creative work stream. Line‑manage a direct report focused on generating UGC content via creators. Set clear priorities, standards and development goals across teams.
- International creative sharing – Ensure paid social creative assets, frameworks and learnings are shared effectively with international markets. Support local adaptation while maintaining performance intent and quality standards.
Qualifications
