Role Overview
As a Senior Campaign Manager at Buttermilk, you will be responsible for overseeing the full campaign lifecycle for clients, from initial creator discovery through to content approvals, ensuring campaigns are delivered efficiently, profitably, and with excellence. You will be instrumental in setting clear targets, managing client communications, and ensuring projects meet both client expectations and internal KPIs. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong organisational skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team to deliver top‑notch results.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management & Process Optimisation: Oversee the end‑to‑end creator process, optimising for efficiency, profitability, and success.
- Increase sign‑up rates, reduce drop‑out rates, and improve content quality and campaign results.
- Reporting back on optimisation of our processes and displaying innovative thinking on how we can improve, for wider agency implementation.
- Timeline & Target Setting: Set up and monitor delivery timelines and clear target setting for the team.
- Collaborate with the client, strategy, and data teams to support KPI setting and recommend deliverables based on client briefs.
- Client Communications: Occasional client communications related to campaign delivery, including timelines, creator management, and content approvals.
- Serve as the escalation point for any team queries, ensuring high standards of communication.
- Financial & Margin Oversight: Oversee the profitability of creator programs to ensure campaigns meet or exceed GP (gross profit) goals.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to protect and enhance project profitability.
- Team Leadership & Management: Manage and mentor a delivery team, providing leadership in both line management and project management.
- Ensure the team is aligned with client goals and internal KPIs, fostering a high‑performing and collaborative environment.
- Reporting & Data Management: Provide input into reports and status updates for clients, ensuring transparency and accuracy in campaign progress.
- Conduct data checks and review dashboards to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of campaign performance tracking.

- Team Management & Development: Effectively manages the creator team (including Senior Creator Executives) by providing regular, constructive feedback; facilitates professional growth and development; ensures team alignment with client goals and internal KPIs, fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and motivated work environment.
- Reporting & Data Management: Analysis of results & pivots where required across complex campaigns; weekly decks being thorough and informative; accuracy in reporting; accuracy and timeliness of dashboard insight documentation; upskill and delegate reporting and data management tasks.
- Campaign Management & Process Optimisation: Oversees the creator process from discovery to content approvals, driving efficiency, profitability, and campaign success; increases creator sign‑up rates, reduces drop‑out rates, and enhances content quality and campaign results; innovates on optimisation of our wider agency delivery processes and feeds back to the Head of Creator Services.

Required Experience & Skills
- 4+ years of experience in campaign or project management within an agency environment.
- Mandatory agency background with expertise in account management and Influencer Marketing (IFM).
- Proven experience in project management with a track record of delivering successful campaigns.
- Strong people management experience, including mentoring and team leadership.
- Experience working with large conglomerate brands (e.g. Estee Lauder, L’Oreal).
- Experience managing always‑on clients, with a focus on consistent delivery and client satisfaction.
