Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Creative to lead and shape creative thinking across the Uber US account and broader business opportunities. From FYP to emerging digital spaces, you turn high screen time into strategic creative opportunities rooted in culture, community, and the creator economy. You don’t just spot trends - you understand why they matter and where they’re heading. You operate beyond reactive ideas and actively shape creative direction, identifying movements before they become mainstream and translating cultural insight into commercially impactful concepts. Across the account, you will play a leading role in defining and delivering Buttermilk’s creative output across pitches, proposals, and client campaigns spanning influencer, social, content, experiential, and integrated work. You’ll be expected to lead projects end-to-end, influence stakeholders, raise the quality of creative thinking across the team, and contribute meaningfully to the evolution of Buttermilk’s creative offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion Buttermilk’s creative philosophy and act as a senior creative voice across client work, pitches, and internal initiatives.
- Lead strategic and creative development from initial brief through execution, ensuring work is culturally relevant, insight-led, and commercially effective.
- Shape and elevate creative thinking across projects, identifying opportunities to push ideas further and improve quality across output.
- Lead and present creative work confidently to clients and internal stakeholders, building trust and bringing clarity to complex thinking.
- Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a senior creative partner and confidently navigating feedback and evolving priorities.
- Own creative workflows and delivery across multiple projects, balancing ambition with pace and ensuring high quality execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Strategy, Client Services, Creator Services, Design, and Production teams to ensure integrated and cohesive output.
- Mentor and support junior and mid-weight creatives through clear direction, coaching, and constructive feedback.
- Play a meaningful role in new business, helping shape pitch narratives, concepts, and creative approaches that strengthen Buttermilk’s market position.
- Identify emerging cultural trends, platforms, creator behaviours, and opportunities that influence both client work and broader agency thinking.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of creative processes, standards, and best practices across the team.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, original concepts, and work that has delivered meaningful outcomes.
- Deep understanding of creators, internet culture, digital platforms, and emerging trends, with the ability to identify opportunities before they become mainstream.
- Proven ability to lead creative development across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
- Confident presenter and storyteller with experience leading pitches and presenting to senior clients.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring or managing creatives and supporting development across teams.
- Strong commercial understanding and ability to balance creative ambition with client and business objectives.
- Self-starter mentality with strong creative instincts and a proactive approach to generating ideas and opportunities.
