Key Responsibilities
- Be a trusted first-line advisor for managers and staff on everything from performance management and absence to flexible working and family-friendly policies.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, ensuring legal compliance and a pragmatic, people-centred approach.
- Manage complex casework (disciplinaries, grievances, redundancy, etc.) with professionalism and care.
- Work closely with the Head of People Services to embed change, upskill managers, and drive people-focused initiatives.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and daily people operations with accuracy.
- Help shape a high-performing, inclusive culture where people can truly flourish.
What We’re Looking For
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
- Strong HR/People operations background
- Solid grasp of UK employment law and modern HR practices
- Comfortable working remotely and independently – with top-notch tech skills
- Excellent communication and coaching ability
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional People experiences
