Job Summary:
Assisting, checking and carefully loading product on truck for deliveries; only to assigned routes in order to adhere to the departure schedule.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting in receiving all medical inventory into warehouse, including unloading of containers, packing into proper shelf locations, collecting dock overage. Restocks all medical inventory, with proper stock rotation.
- Obtaining customer signatures on all invoices as delivered. Picks, checks, loads and delivers medical orders in a timely fashion. Reporting any delays in route. Returning damaged or non-required product to the warehouse with correct paperwork. Adhere to established delivery schedule. Ensuring that no product leaves the warehouse without an accompanying invoice/delivery slip.
- Completing weekly vehicle maintenance form, not having any accidents, speed reports, or parking tickets within the past 12 months. Obeying all traffic laws and regulations.
- Assisting in any other area throughout the warehouse as and when required.
- Ensuring that the warehouse is neat and orderly at all times and that it is suitable for customer visits on short notice.
- Assisting in performing regular cycle counts.
- Wearing uniform provided and looking smart, clean and tidy. Provide polite, courteous and friendly service to our customers, acting as ambassadors for the company.
HOURS OF WORK - MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8:15AM TO 5PM - ONE HOUR FOR LUNCH.
HEAVY TRUCK LICENSE IS REQUIRED
Requirements:
- Possess a clean and valid Bermuda driver's license.
- Self starter - ability to work with minimal supervision.
- High School Education.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
